Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC): Solvent-based metal adhesives often contain organic solvents such as acetone and esters, which are volatile at room temperature. Inhalation in high concentration in a closed environment for a long time will irritate respiratory tract and mucous membrane, and it is the common safety risk source in industrial construction.

Curing active monomers and auxiliaries: cyanoacrylate monomer in quick-drying metal adhesive and amine curing agent in epoxy metal adhesive are irritating before they are completely cured, which may cause allergies or slight burns when they are in direct contact with the skin. After being completely cured, they form a stable polymer structure and their toxicity will be greatly reduced. Heavy metals and halogen substances: some low-cost formulas are added with heavy metals such as and cadmium or halogen-containing additives to improve performance, which has accumulated environmental risks after long-term use and does not meet the requirements of international environmental protection regulations such as ROHS/REACH of the European Union.

Migration risk in special scenes: Ordinary industrial metal glue has not passed the food-grade and medical-grade safety verification, and there is a health risk of small molecule migration when it comes into direct contact with food, medicine or human tissues, so it is strictly prohibited to use it beyond scenes.
