Proper lubrication

Choose the right lubricant: use professional lock cylinder lubricant, graphite powder or silicon-based lubricant, and don't use ordinary oil such as engine oil and butter, which are easy to absorb dust and make the lock cylinder sticky. Lubrication method: spray or drip a small amount into the keyhole, then insert the key and turn it back and forth for 5-10 times to make the lubricant evenly distributed. Wipe off the excess oil after use. Lubrication frequency: once every 3-6 months for ordinary families; It is recommended to use it once a month in humid and dusty environment or frequently.

Periodic inspection

Check the rebound situation: after pressing the handle, it should be able to rebound neatly. If it is loose, rebound slowly or the lock tongue is stuck, it is mostly that the return spring is aging or broken and needs to be replaced. Check the state of the lock cylinder: the key should be inserted and rotated smoothly. If it feels stiff or stuck, clean and lubricate it first; It's still not working. It may be that the internal parts are worn out, so we have to find a professional master to deal with it. Check whether the screw is loose: shake the lock core lightly by hand. If it is loose, tighten the fixing screw with a screwdriver.
