Flammability: Ordinary ABS materials are flammable substances, and the LOI is usually between 18-20%, which is easy to ignite when it meets a fire source and has a fast combustion speed.
Combustion products: Unmodified ABS will release a lot of black harmful gases and toxic gases when it catches fire, and UL94 rating is usually the low HB rating.
Flame retardant modification: by adding halogen, phosphorus or halogen-free flame retardants, the fire resistance can be significantly improved, and the oxygen index can be raised to above 26%-28%.
